I purchased this for my Kindle at 99 cents, taking a chance as there were no reviews yet. It was slightly irritating that there was no space before any italicized text, but didn't deter from the plot. I did enjoy it, I liked the characters. The reader knows from the start what will happen at the end, but not who will cause that event, so it was a fun mystery. Story moves along quickly, a couple twists here and there, a bit of a let-down as far as the perpetrator of said event and explanation. Some of the writing is rather cryptic, leaving the reader to guess as to the author's meaning. Good book, though.Product details

first ten day. It stayed on the NYTines bestseller list for 59 weeks. Packer's
The Girl On The Bestseller List about a woman who wrote a bestseller called Population 12,360, had three printings after it first came out in 1960. Both books exposed the secrets of a small town. In the small town Packer created there
were many people who hated Gloria Weldon, star of this novel, but her killer
was someone who loved her.
This book had a good plot to it however it wasn't written very well. Spelling errors, grammar errors and we didn't always know who was "talking" due to lack of paragraphs.
I enjoyed this book. It kept me guessing. The characters were well developed. The main character was someone that I would enjoy knowing in real life.
Lots of fun to read and a unique plot. I enjoyed reading it. There's not much writers won't do to get published.
