This was a great read that reminded me of the importance of brokenness and surrender, Christ was broken and surrendered His soul for my sins that I might have a right to the tree of life!
This is really a 3.5-4 star rating. I truly appreciate the author's commitment to laying a firm biblical foundation for the devastating nature of sinful soul ties through God's Word and the included testimonies. She truly explained the issue and applied it to specific cultural examples within the Black community (Greek system). I only wish that she had spent more time on deliverance/practical application than the problem itself.
Regardless, its a great tool and her love of the Father and His truth is readily apparent with the turn of every page.

I really enjoyed the book. She's down to earth and the points made do make sense. If we really want to follow Jesus as the Bible says we need to make sure nothing else will take our hearts from that.

Was clueless about soul ties, this book shows just what happens when we give ourselves to another person either in marriage or out of marriage. The bible teaches we become one. Highly recommend this book as it is another way to visit your past with God and then let Him heal and restore you. He has started a good work in me and I await what my future looks like through our Savior
